Sherry Vine Wants Larry Craig

Alas, Wonkette fails to get the point. For Larry Craig, the BIG thrills came from the creepy courting/seduction behavior, not the sex (or lack of it) at the end. All casual sex can become boring if none of the other deep emotions, like love, mutual respect, care, mutual concern, and mental intimacy aren't present.

Craig is a true predatory pervert, the kind all the anti-gays are most afraid of. Like all natural predators, it's all in the thrill of the chase. But in this respect, he is no different than the equally creepy 28-year-olds who hang around the high school parking lots, looking to pick up girls. Thank God there are so few of them in either sexual orientation.

Craig wasn't the only one in D.C. I'm sure Congress has others, as yet still closeted, and I'm also sure most of them are straight. Idaho has kept a some straight playboys and pervs in office for decades, and a lot of us have heard the rumors. Power, arrogance, and job security can all go hand in hand with predatory behavior of all kinds.

I've never done cocaine, but from everything I've ever heard, the first high is the best, and all the rest are just attempts to get that same high again, but it never happens. though the desire goes on and on.

If this is true, Craig is now infamous enough, and old enough, that he's like the last years' old beaten elk bull who now prefers to go graze than keep up his natural impulses. Maybe.

If not, I'll bet he'll be popped again, sometime, somewhere. Lifelong patterns are the hardest for old folks to break, for sure.
