Will Obama pick up another Idaho superdelegate Monday afternoon?

From an email sent by the Idaho Democratic Party:

Press conference scheduled for Monday

Last Idaho superdelegate before convention to make endorsement

BOISE, Idaho – Idaho Democratic Party officials will gather at Party Headquarters at noon Monday, where Chairman R. Keith Roark, will announce his endorsement democratic presidential nomination.

Additionally, Mr. Roark will also take questions about plans for an active Democratic Presidential campaign in Idaho this year for the first time in four decades.

  • Who: R. Keith Roark, Chairman, along with other Democratic party officials
  • What: Superdelegate announcement
  • When: Monday, May 12, Noon
  • Where: Idaho Democratic Party Headquarters (988 Longmont, Boise, ID

Chairman Roark could surprise me and throw a bone to Senator Clinton, but I don't really believe that. At least, I certainly hope that's not the case. After the campaign the Clintons have run over the last few months, nothing would please me more than to have their asses tossed out the boat and never hear from Hillary or Bill ever again -- although that's as likely as the sun rising in the West tomorrow.

Here's hoping the Obama superdelegate flood opens up next week, and he pulls in all the numbers he needs to send Billary back to New Yawk once and for all. And send the freakin' DLC with them for good.

UPDATE 5/12/08 2:06PM MDT: It's official: Idaho Democratic Party Chairman R. Keith Roark gives his superdelegate vote to Senator Barack Obama (click here to read updated post).
